HOME PROFILES DAKOTA L. SOLBERG


Dakota joined Stella L. Pitts & Associates in 2010. He focuses on family law and handles debt collection and preliminary probate for the firm.

Studying at the University of Washington and the Technische Universität Berlin, Dakota received a B.A. with college honors in philosophy and German literature. Dakota received his law degree from the University of Washington. While in law school, Dakota received first place awards in several mock trial and contract negotiation competitions, then became the law school’s vice president of in-house competitions.

Prior to joining Stella L. Pitts & Associates, Dakota administered the distribution of class action lawsuit settlements and judgments (Garden City Group), researched and wrote criminal defense appeals (Washington Appellate Project), researched and advised on the drafting of a model municipal green building code (International Code Council), and prosecuted civil infractions in municipal court (Seattle City Attorney).
