HOME PROFILES CHRIS M. KANG


Chris received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley and received his law degree from the University of Washington’s School of Law.

During law school, Chris completed an externship for the Honorable John C. Coughenour of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. He was also a summer associate at a mid-size Seattle law firm and worked as a member of the Refugee & Immigrant Advocacy Legal Clinic through the Northwest Justice Project.

Chris was President and Co-Founder of the Korean-American Law Student Association and received the annual Korean-American Bar Association Scholarship Award in 2006. He is now a board member of the Korean-American Bar Association as well as for the International District Housing Alliance. He is also the Treasurer for the Midvale Condominium Association.

With experience in commercial litigation and criminal prosecution, Chris has successfully handled many cases at trial. As an associate in the litigation department, Chris took cases to trial, mediation, and numerous hearings. Additionally, Chris has a proven track record of successful settlements out of court. Chris is also part of the commercial transaction department within the firm and has negotiated commercial leases, buy/sell agreements, and other business transactions.
